Ray enjoys finding the elegant solutions to intricate problems and has a diverse background in IT, Systems Administration, Web Development, and Project Management.

His first work with web development was in Costa Rica and involved ASP. He then brought his talents to the non-profit industry in Washington, DC, where he learned about the world of open source solutions for professional educator development in developing countries. Those experiences led to a successful few years as an independent consultant. Later he became a partner in an Indianapolis based web development company. He is currently focusing his skills on Drupal and related web technologies, while participating in the Indianapolis Drupal user group.

Ray holds a BA from Harvard University. He has been married since 2001, and has three children. In his free time he enjoys gardening, fishing, and camping with his family. He'll talk tech with anyone who will bend an ear.
