Tree House creates high traffic, dynamic sites for big-name clients like Lifetime Networks, Mansueto Ventures, CBS and Sony BMG. Things move fast here, and standards for both code and service are high. We've got a virtual team of top-notch talent, and we want to add a new Drupaller to the group.
Our next Drupal star could be a senior developer with demonstrated expertise in custom module development or custom theming, or a more junior developer with instincts for clean code, enthusiasm for learning best practices from the start, and a rampant curiosity for exploring and pushing the limits of technology. Suppose you are the person we are looking for...
What will you do?
- Custom Drupal/PHP/MySQL development
- Site architecture planning
- Work with project manager on project specs and time estimates
- Interact with clients regarding requirements and expectations
- Collaborate with external teams
What characterizes you?
- 2 or more years of experience
- At least some knowledge of and experience with Drupal
- Strong XHTML, CSS and/or Javascript
- Passion for the web
- High degree of initiative
- Strong communication skills
- Keen sense of use cases and user experience
- Motivation to rank among the best at what you do
What gives you bonus points?
- Use or are familiar with Scrum and/or GTD
- Have contributed modules
- Have significant background in other web technologies
- Think jQuery is the coolest thing since the DOM
- Enjoy blogging, podcasting, or speaking at conferences
